MBay Audio Releases Its First Comedy Album by a Duck

Pacific Grove, CA March 24, 2004 -- Look out Daffy Duck, move over Donald Duck, a new duck is set to take the stage--Little Dick Duck. MBay Audio today announced the release of its first comedy CD, “Let It Ride,” by Little Dick Duck.

“Let It Ride,” is a compilation of polished and rough-cut recordings of comedy skits featuring a relentlessly self-absorbed duck. It’s the Jerky Boys meets Daffy Duck, unsophisticated and hilarious, but cute.

“We’re really a recording operation,” says MBay Audio founder and the voice of Little Dick Duck, Anthony Okins, “but this project enabled us to branch out.” The CD was unplanned. Okins had a habit of entertaining co-workers with the pugnacious duck. They convinced him to record a CD. But Little Dick Duck had been around for a while. He was born on the playgrounds of Minneapolis where Okins grew up. “We had to do something to get us through the winters,” says Okins.

Now Little Dick Duck will have a wider audience. “Let It Ride” will be available on CD and in downloadable formats. For anyone who’s ever wondered how a duck might handle politics, the skit “Politician” is a side-splitting must. “How to Use a Power Tool” and “Spelunker” are available to download freely through the MBay Audio website. For the terminally humorless, “Let It Ride” is a welcome release.
